  2. My late wife, Phyllis and myself first met Daryl and Marilyn in Vanimo, PNG, in 1977, and attended their "wedding with a difference". We kept in touch for some time until losing contact some years ago. It was great to finally catch up with them again at the Woodend Ex-Kiaps reunion last year. I have fond memories of Daryl, and offer my heartfelt condolences to Marilyn and the Family.

  3. I was just one of the Class of 1971 who were PNG bound but who was fortunate enough to sit next to him at ASOPA. Sadly, then I didn't see him, after 4 Mile, in Moresby, for 40 years, until the 2013 kiap's reunion. That is something I profoundly regret. You are fondly remembered Daryl.
    Rest in Peace.

  4. I have not seen Darryl for nearly fifty years when we were completing our Assistant Patrol Officers Course in Port Moresby. A t that time a dedicated, friendly, intelligent and generous young man. My sincere condolences to all the Family
