3. A wonderful tribute to a remarkable man. I first met John way back in the early years at the farm, when he was a young stock agent. Always then as ever a cheerful character. In these latter years our paths crossed, but I particularly remember catching up with John one day at the Lake Goldsmith Steam Rally for a chat.
   A very special person, an undaunted spirit.
   For his loved ones an enduring treasure.
