Leave a tributeSo sorry to hear of this news. I have such great memories as kids playing with Matt and Brett on the farm in Nar Nar Goon. I remember trying to make Matt climb the chimney to see if Bert from Mary Poppins could actually fit up there.

Jan, Bruce, Brett, to Matt’s wife Nicole, his daughters … words are too futile right now. Many, many happy memories and good times shared in the Nar Nar Goon days. We shared, we cared as our kids came into the world. Blissful days, laughter, happiness and fun. Great friendships.
My heart aches for you all as you enter that unenviable club of grief. Stay close, love one another.
Grief is a marathon, not a sprint.

His courage through IDW appeared to defy logic, and I'm sure that also came down to his talented wingwoman, Nicola. To love one another is one thing. Matt shared his passion with so many and gave our kids someone to look up to. Inspiring them live big and have a go. Matt showed us all how universal the dairy industry is.
