Tributes
Leave a tributeI'm so sad for your loss Tracy.
You and David have been my friendliest neighbours in my nearly 3 years here.
I miss David's "Hi neighbour"
Across our shared fence.
Condolences to all of your family.September 16, 2026 11:23 am
Mt Noorat Freighters extends our deepest condolences to the Templeton family on the passing of our much-loved workmate and colleague, Dave.
Dave was the kind of employee every workplace hopes to have. He would always walk through the door with a smile on his face, ready for a chat and usually with a story to share about his day.
He was highly respected by his fellow employees, who looked up to him and genuinely enjoyed his company. Dave brought warmth, humour and friendship to the workplace, and his presence in the yard will be greatly missed.
His passing has deeply saddened everyone within the Mt Noorat Freighters community. We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Dave as part of our team and will remember him not only as a valued colleague, but as a wonderful mate.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the Templeton family, Dave’s friends and all those who knew and loved him during this very difficult time.
Rest peacefully, Dave. You will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by everyone at Mt Noorat Freighters.

We wish to extend our sincere sympathy to the Templeton family on the loss of David. Although the family farm sold 40 odd years ago, the memories of Glen North Primary School and David have not been forgotten by Lorraine and Robyn.
May memories of happier times with David bring the Templeton family comfort. You are in our prayers.

My deepest sympathies to Tracy and all of the Templeton families. From combined primary sports Friday afternoons with Glen North and Glen South at the College, right through to High School and beyond, David was always a happy chappy on for a talk. We always laughed because I was one day older so that meant we were in hospital together when we were born. Rest in Peace birthday buddy.

Condolences to Tracy and the entire Templeton family. David was one funny bugger. Always made me laugh a lot during our school years, and again when I saw him several years ago at our school reunion (trying to horse ride/race a plastic chair down the assembly hall- “possibly” a little too much liquid excitement had been consumed 🤣)
Taken way too soon.

To Tracey,Kye and Brady and the extended Templeton Family. Deepest Sympathy on the passing of David.
Growing up as neighbours in Glenormiston. Then schooling at Glen North PS. Then secondary schooling at Terang College. Many funny times we had and great memories. Just farm kids hanging out together. Farm kids being farm kids. Watchout Doug. David is on his way.
R.I.P David
