The Funeral Service for JAN will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, 21 Regent Street, Port Fairy on FRIDAY (October 17) commencing at 2.30pm.
The cortège will leave at the conclusion of the Service for the Port Fairy cemetery.

It’s hard to find the right words to say goodbye to “Jan” Smits.
Although we didn’t see each other often in recent years, whenever our paths crossed, she always had that warm smile and an easy way of striking up a conversation, as if no time had passed at all.
Jan had such a gentle, caring nature, someone who made you feel valued in even the briefest of chats.
Her quiet strength and kind spirit will be remembered always, a beautiful life, lived with love and grace.
She was deeply loved by her family a devoted wife to Jack, a loving mum to Lee and Leonie, Megan and Dan, and a very proud, adoring Nanny to James and Chloe; Oliver, Poppy and Lola.
