My fondest memory of Sue was when I used to stay over to play at your house when we were all kids.
Her kindness, amiability, and beautiful nature all truly contributed to making me feel like an adopted son while I was under your roof. I always felt safe, welcome, and taken care of. She was a special lady who always had a big smile on her face when she saw you and a genuine passion to know what was going on in your life. An unquestionably rare quality in a person. She will be missed.PS: Sorry, Nick and Dan, for mixing up your names! I was a scatter-brained zombie, 95% asleep on my feet, with 3 red bulls pumping through my veins. My body clock is normally snoozing at that time. I do know who is who, truly! Sue is looking down, laughing a hearty chuckle over it, of that I'm sure!

Sue,
I am so grateful that I got to call you my Mum. Your compassion and tolerance for others was beyond equal, and the way you always had time for the endless numbers of people you cared about was a shining light for me to follow (even if that time meant you were always late to things!!). So many of the amazing experiences we have had in life have been due to the sense of curiousity you fostered in us growing up, and I can't imagine living life any other way.
Jodie and I are so grateful for your support and love. Having you at our wedding is a memory we will cherish forever. We will miss your cheeky smile (usually after a solid dig at Dan!), your phonecalls and voicemails, doing the quiz, and watching you beat the pants off Norm at Scrabble. We are forever grateful for the love and laughter you shared with us and only wish we had the rest of lifes moments to share with you too. The fact we won't hear your voice again breaks our hearts, but know that you are now at peace.
