Passed away comfortably and peacefully at South West Healthcare after a long battle on February 24, 2026.
Aged 58 years
Dearly loved wife of Barry.
Adored Mum of Jack and Jenna, Max and Maddi.
Charismatic Nonni of Payton.
Cherished sister of Gary, Terri and their families.
The Primmer family wish to extend their sincere appreciation to the Palliative care team at South West Healthcare for the support and care shown to Sandra during her illness.

Family and friends of SANDRA are invited to attend a Service at the Eastern Park Chapel, 271 Raglan Parade, Warrnambool on TUESDAY (March 3) commencing at 2.00pm.
The cortège will leave at the conclusion of the Service for the Tooram Memorial Park Cemetery.

On behalf of Deakin University and the University Services portfolio our condolences are sent to Sandra’s family. Sandra had a distinguished career at Deakin, supporting students and staff. She has been part of the Deakin family for more than two decades in our finance and insurance teams. Sandra’s strong work effort, her willingness to help others, her positive can-do attitude and sense of humour were loved and appreciated by all those with whom she worked. During Covid she reached out to help others in a time of uncertainty , and her role as Insurance officer has seen her support thousands of our students as they travel abroad. Sandra will be dearly missed but forever in our hearts.

It was an absolute pleasure to get to know and work with Sandra. Knowing what she was going through, her strength and commitment to helping others just highlighted what an amazing colleague and friend she was.

Our hearts are broken for you all on the loss of our gorgeous and fun loving friend Sandra.
What amazing memories we have of holidays, kid free weekends, drinks in the backyards and casual coffee catch ups on Sunday mornings.
