  8. Ross & Andrew Powell - 2 Good Samaritans, whose beliefs became their reality, who were true to themselves.
Did Ross & Andrew ever assess the value of another's life or did they unquestioningly embark on the rescue of the endangered (as did all my SLSC brothers in my years of surf lifesaving)?
This father & son lived the notion that our common humanity transcends all our differences.
May God rest their Souls - &, may the light of the candle lit by Ross & Andrew Powell so many years ago continue to dispel darkness & inspire everyone who experiences its glow.

  10. Mate, I am devastated. You were one of the most liked and highly regarded participants that ever came through the Victorian Youth Parliament Program. We had so many great times through it and you hold a special place in the heart of so many, there is no doubting that. I can't believe you're gone... You were truly one we needed down here for all of your life, so I guess that means the time we did have you was all the more special. Love from Darren 'Gary' Peters, Robert 'Pougate' Dugdale and Maddi Meese (YP 2014)
