Decades have passed since our teenage and uni years but the memories are vivid. Jason was wickedly funny and so talented, quietly challenging my imagination and creativity.

I had the pleasure of working with Jason on a number of productions and always admired his skill and creativity. But more so the gentle softness he brought into the days as we worked on whichever project or sudden deadline we had. He had a personality and presence that just sticks with you. My deep condolences go to his family, close friends, the Melbourne Art crew and all those feeling the deep loss of his lovely soul. Rest easy Jason x

I only worked with Jason briefly, but in that time got to know a guy that was a genuinely sweet, Quietly very funny and fantastically creative.

Jase was one of those rare people whose presence made life brighter. He was endlessly talented and creative, with a unique, clever wit and playful spirit. I am so very grateful to have shared so many film jobs with him as his work partner, but most importantly, to have had him as a truly wonderful friend. Jase will forever be missed. My love and condolences to his family and friends.

Jason was a beautiful soul inside & out. He had a creative mind, an enormous heart & a wonderful sense of humour.
I feel incredibly blessed to have been his friend. My life was so much more illuminated with him in it. Jason I will treasure and cherish our friendship, always and forever.

I was always envious of those in Jason's inner circle. His gentle nature and creative spirit had a way of making you feel like you were somehow more special for knowing him. Sincere condolences for all who were close and are feeling the pain of his loss x

Jason was an absolutely wonderful human being. He was so easy to talk to and a joy to be around. His smile was infectious and his friendship highly prized and valued. He will always be remembered. Rest in peace Jason.

Jason was a super honey of a man and I loved chatting with him. He was so multi talented, I think I learned he had a different arty skill every time we spoke. He was admired and adored by everyone he met. Truly. Big love to his family, Andrew and all the arty folk who he touched with his kindness, humour, cheekiness and good vibe. He is hugely missed.

Jason was loved and adored by all of us in the film industry xxx we ( Ben and I ) think have counted 23 jobs that we shared over the last 15 years or so . He was a talented , creative , spirited , generous sensitive soul who will be missed greatly by all of us xxx 💔💔💔z love to all his family who he adored and his friend Andrew and all of us art dept folk x
