Born September 18, 1963. Passed away June 6, 2026.
After a long illness Brendan passed away peacefully at
Mildura Base Hospital on Saturday 6th of June 2026.
Loving son of Denis ‘Kevin’ and Kathleen O’Keeffe (both deceased).
Brother of Jennifer and Kevin.

Leave a tributeBok was a local legend around the Red Cliffs Community , a fabric of the local area as well as the Greater Sunraysia Region [Mildura] of which he was a part of for the past 25-30 years.
In particular Bok was a regular patron of The Red Cliffs Club where he would be found most every Saturday with his Punting Mates : Dave Hunter, Reggie Keil, Tony Sergi, Willy McDonald , Ronnie Robinson and old George Davis, sharing banter and tales of woe and winners . Always trying to snare that elusive long shot , Bok was an uncanny punter often bringing in a long shot winner particularly on his beloved home track of Warnnambool.
This was the year that I decided Bok, Dave, Reggie and I would go for the Warnannambool 4 day May Carnival. Bok was in good shape (we thought) and I'd arranged Premium Accomodation months before and tickets to a Coporate Tent for Warnammbool Cup Day . But it wasn't to be, Boks' illness resurfaced and he was back on treatment and couldn't travel and the trip dissolved . As I said to Bok many times ,"You've got to got to "one" Warnambool May Carnival in your lifetimem". It wasn't to be but at least Bok has made it home.
A very funny bloke who always had your back. Bok , you'll be missed by many . In closing I'd like to mention Maurice. DeNero and the Gillardi girls for all the help they afforded Bok over some trying as well as many good times over the years.June 18, 2026 6:06 am

You endured so much.!
And fought so hard, to the very end.

It has been a Long, hard road that you have Travelled.
From thoughs Tough Times, to the Days that were just bearable.
You fought with everything you had.
I am so glad that I could be there, to fight with you.
The conversations, that we had, on the way to and from Chemo.
The Lunches every week.
It's now time to Rest My Friend.
I'm going to Miss You!

Bokky you will be forever remembered and sadly missed by all of your mates in the Red Cliffs Community .
The Gilardi family has held you and your friendship in great respect for the thirty years that you lived alongside us. We look back fondly at the many wonderful times spent working, partying hard and sharing the good times together. You were like a brother to me Bok, a caring and reliable friend to Angela and a trusted Uncle and mate to Chanelle, Deniro and Romina. Leanne and little Harlan just thought the world of you!
