With you goes a piece of my heart.
We found joy in the simple things – Irish and Scottish tunes filling the shed.
We’d dance, laugh, sing and pick up an instrument just for the love of it. That was our time, and I’ll hold it close forever.
A man of strong morals, integrity, and a beautiful heart. I’m so proud you are my father. You lived a life marked with physical pain, but you never complained once.

The cortège will leave at the conclusion of the Service for the Tower Hill Cemetery.

I sadly note the passing of Bill, Tom Maguire dec. just loved working with Bill, and then popping over to the Shamrock Hotel for a beer or two and many stories and laughs. What a great character from a lovely family, condolences to Glenda and all Bill’s loved ones. Leon

I have great memories of every Thursday night standing on the hill at the old dog track with you and Dad and being on building sites with you. Always cheerful right to the end. Glad that we got to reminisce about the old times recently. Reunited now with all our dogs at the big track in the sky. Love you Billy.

Bill, I’m devastated at the loss of you. I truly valued every Saturday race day we had together. I was honoured because you knew everyone in the area that trained horses. I loved Sunday mornings driving past all the stables and how you knew everybody. I thank you so much for introducing the stock whip to me and I’ve learnt so much from you aboutand the trust we had with each other. And this is why I got away with singing you songs in the car “hey true boo, is it me or you”. I got away with a lot with you.

My brother, my friend, my right hand man. Bill was so many things to me ,Barnie, our kids & grandkids
