Tributes
Steve will be a much missed lecturer at Port Fairy U3A. He was a wealth of knowledge and although I only knew him for a brief period of time I will remember him for his mentorship; opening up to our group and myself the world of Philosophy. My heartfelt Condolences to the Mackey Family.

A greatly valued colleague and friend in reflecting on Complex Processes with Arran Gare's group at Swinburne Uni. Such a loss, but also such a lively insight into our world. Steve will be remembered with gratitude.

I will always remember Steve as a ‘quick witted’, jovial character who challenged his students to refine their rhetoric skills and be an active citizen. He recounted defining moments in political history with passion and enthusiasm which made working with him full of colour and discourse.
