  5. On behalf of the Mpower Board and staff
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Cath Lourey, a founding leader of Mpower whose vision and compassion shaped our organisation. From humble beginnings, Cath helped create a community grounded in inclusion and support, ensuring that children with disabilities and their families would never have to walk their path alone.
As Mpower’s first Coordinator and later CEO, her leadership laid the foundation for the services and community we continue to build today. Her belief in dignity, opportunity and belonging continues to guide our work.
On behalf of the Board and staff, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Cath’s family. Her legacy lives on in every life touched by Mpower.
