Leave a tributeSo sorry to hear of Rose's death. I would see Rose at the ballet and the opera as we sat in adjacent seats at the opera and in nearby rows at the ballet. I always enjoyed our chats about the production we were seeing and she told me that she always passed on our comments about the ballet to David McAllister, I think he referred to us, as "the crew". I well remember the time we were leaving the theatre and David got in the lift with us and the mutual pleasure they had in meeting one another. Rose thought he would be disappointed in seeing her, nothing could of been further from the truth. He told her that he posted her letters on the ballet noticeboard where all the dancers could read them. I was worried as I had not seen her for a long time that something might have happened. I am sure she will still be following the ballet. Condolences to all of her family and friends. I always think of her at the ballet and opera and will look out for Helen and the others at the ballet.

What a lovely person Rose was, I will always miss her coming in for afternoon tea and a cream cake, she was always very kind to me and alway had a smile no matter how she was feeling.Rest in peace Rose

Fond memories of not only a beautiful, wise and kind lady but also a lovely loyal customer, who never complained throughout her illness. We looked forward to seeing her each week sitting in our Cafe with her afternoon tea. We will all miss you Rose, rest in peace. Love Raelene, Brent and all the staff at Koroit Bakehouse xx

Rose was a wonderful teacher. She was a true individual who made learning fun and I look back on all the Art and Sewing lessons from 1969 to 1974 with great joy as they inspired my lifetime hobbies. My condolences to all the family.

I will be forever grateful to Rose for taking me under care above and beyond her teaching position. She gave me hope and incentive to create a future for myself in nursing,introduced me to the arts . Love of architecture.Created an avid reader . She helped me reach my goals. I am very sad at her passing. My condolences to her family . Rest in peace beautiful soul .

Miss Gunn “Rogo” was an inspirational teacher and wonderful person. She inspired my love for art especially art history; a passion that went with me into my teaching career and continues beyond. Condolences to all her friends and family.

My wonderful Lady Rose, I will miss you so much. Your flowers, your wise words, your surprises and gifts you would bring Charlotte and I. I will miss your smiles and your love you gave me and praises for Charlotte. I hope you are at rest and if anything I imagine you are with a good book,cream cake and nice tea.
