1. David & James, I’m very sorry to learn of the passing of your caring and artistic mother. She was a very special friend of my mother Melva. I’d like to think that the lovely ladies of the Solo Group are now reunited, enjoying a chat and a cuppa. They were of a special generation. Kindest Regards Ross Coulthard.

2. Fond memories of long chats with Jean over the fence in Victoria Street. She had a beautiful rambling garden and was always willing to share her extensive knowledge of plants and provide cuttings .
   Jean was a very creative person who , amongst other things ,produced beautiful needlework on her own painted canvasses.
