I have wonderful memories of Lyal and Val, and holidays spent at Southcombe Park. Collecting pippies and listening to Slim Dusty in the Caravan. Lyal was always interested in what I'd been up to, and had a fantastic smile that immediately made you feel welcome. Much love to all of Lyal's family. Such an honour to have known him. xoxox

In the 1970's Skyhooks were singing I'm Living in the Seventies...and so was Hawkesdale...Lyle, Val & Family at the helm of local pub..couldn't get a park Friday/Saturday nights.The joy of bringing a community together your greatest virtue..
