The Funeral Mass for JOAN will be offered at St Pius X Catholic Church, 76 Morriss Road, West Warrnambool on FRIDAY (July 18) commencing at 1.00pm.

The cortège will leave the Church at the conclusion of Funeral Mass for the Port Fairy Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited at the above Church on THURSDAY evening commencing at 7.00pm.

9. Dear all of Joan and Des’ kids,
   Whilst I lived at Yambuk. it Codrington , I admired you lot, whom I’d only ever see at mass on Sundays.
   Des and Joan were the most handsome gracious and graceful of people.
   All of you stepping stones of kids, some 60 years ago, with your jet black shiny glorious hair, mesmerised me, and have me great joy, even though I never got to opportunity to know any of you.
   I probably knew Alecia and Shane ( football) the most.
   Joan and Des and you guys and the wonderful Dodsons have done great things in your lives to change our culture in relation to our appreciation of our first peoples.
   Joan and Des, I’m sure are madly proud of you all, and they deserve to be so.
