Aged 90 years
Loved and loving wife of Leon Habel and Bruce Cameron (both deceased).
Loved mother and mother-in-law of Chris and Lee-Anne, Annie, and Kelly.
Loved Nanna of Jared, Sophie, Stefanie, Savannah and her 7 great grandchildren.
Loved daughter of Daphne and Charlie (both deceased)
and sister of Bill (dec.), Pat and their families.
Step-mother of Jane, Anne, Linda and their families

The Funeral Service for BETTE will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church,
261 Koroit Street, Warrnambool on FRIDAY (May 8) commencing at 10.00a.m.
The cortège will leave at the conclusion of the Service for the Warrnambool cemetery.

To my dear Aunt Bette,
Well, it seems the time has come to be reunited with those passed before you.
You would have known all along that you’d all meet again. You were a believer; true to your faith.
An admired quality.
You became my aunt in 1957, when I was 4 years old. A span of 68 years.
We certainly had ‘our moments’, however the latter ten years were the best.
I have the fondest memories of my jaunts to Warrnambool.
Great dinners, a pantry full of preserves, and a basket of ‘socks without partners’ that drove me crazy.
I will miss many things about you, and I’m saddened you needed to leave us all.
But begins another journey and you’ll have no fear.
“Please say hello to the folks that I know – tell them I won’t be long”.

My long term ftiend Bette was loud but lovely, bossy yet caring. When I lived in Warrnam bool Bette always welcomed strangers to Trinity Lutheran church in a way unique to her. When catering together for an LWV retreat at Hall's Gap we argued about how to make celery a apple salad, When we meet eagain might be able Io resove that matter! I send my love and blessings to resolve that debate.. seeriously, I send my love to Bette's family as they adjust to earthly life without her. Audrey
