  1. I have only just come across Charlie's funeral notice. I have many fond memories of working with Charlie, as an apprentice gardener at Pleasant Creek, more years ago than I care to think about. Charlie taught me so much about gardening, people and the world as a whole. The world is definitely a poorer place without you in it Charlie.

  6. Condolences from the Howlett family Annette, Dominique, Letitia and Zane.
Many great memories. Like the time it was discovered your house wasn't straight. After my dad had used it to align the newly built shed. Should've used the spirit level at the start, not the end. Lol
    I'll always remember Charlie's smile.
    Lots of love

Charlie was a lovely man with a gentle nature and a twinkle in his eye. It is difficult to think that he is no longer in this world, but he will always be with you in spirit. The very special memories of him that we all have will keep his memory alive.

  8. Dear Sandra and family. My heart goes out to you in sadness and celebration of a very wonderful Man. Charles was a very unique and kind soul with many life stories and humour. He will be missed but I do carry very fond memories, especially when I see lighthouses and Collingwood banners
