Len ( my uncle by only one year older ) was a distant connection to myself and my family, but a true cog in Judes life and she loved the catch up they had before she passed away. It was a monumental effort to get to DROMANA to see her, but it seems that was par for the course with Lennie. It truly meant so much to her..
And to the angel who is Cheryl, Len's love and support for most of his life, we are all thinking of you and admire your honesty, loyalty and friendship, along with your kindness to Jude over all the years.

Len … from the day I met Cheryl and watch you and muscles climb into the truck parked out the front of the shop… I was a 15yr old girl… to the day you helped Stephen move house whilst I was in a coma… and then waved goodbye as we move to Karratha. You have always been an amazing man that would give you his last 50cents if would help anyone. You are much loved by everyone who knew you, behind that hard exterior… you were so soft at heart!
You are dearly missed!

Len: Lenny: LEONARD!!: Grumpy Old Man - it doesnt matter what we called you; we all knew that under that gruff exterior there was an absolute heart of gold. You had your struggles over the past couple of years, but you fought like a true ninja.
You will be very sadly missed.
