The Funeral Liturgy for GEOFF will be held at Our Lady

Help of Christians Catholic Church, 2 Selby Road, East

Warrnambool on FRIDAY (December 1) commencing at 2.00pm.

The cortège will leave the Church at the conclusion of

Funeral Liturgy for the Warrnambool Cemetery.

4. Dearest Geoff, we have so many happy memories of fun family times together, lots of people, lots of food, lots of laughter and sometimes too much alcohol. We all loved gathering together for our pickled onion days and any other family event that needed celebrating, and there where many.
   Looking back at old photos it makes us laugh at the different makes of cars we all had, Geoff was very proud of all his cars, but particularly his Holden Kingswood.
   Geoff loved long car drives, and visiting family, especially to Kerang, where he would play the pokies over in NSW before they came to Victoria. He had his favourite times of the day to go and would make sure he played on his favourite machines.
   Often many a car in a convoy heading to destinations for picnics, going to places like Mt. Eccles, Portland, Port Fairy, Port Campbell or wherever we ended up.
   Geoff loved food, but could often be choosy, at family events Geoff would be heard asking who made this or that, it always depended on the answer whether he would eat it or not. Mary would always say "it doesn't matter Geoff, just have some and try it". He loved a cream cake or two and Mary could be heard saying "you don't need that Geoff" and Geoff would reply "watch me", with a cheeky giggle. When having roasts the shank was always put aside for him.
   Geoff was a knowledgable man, great with numbers and facts about horse racing, which often enabled him to pick winners. Geoff was often heard whistling while playing cards, thinking, driving or just relaxing.
   Another project Geoff undertook was tending to the vegetable garden with Colin, Geoff would rotary row the ground and Colin would plant the crop, with both enjoying a refreshment or two afterwards. Those two had a close friendship for around 40 years, making it easier was living within walking distance of each other.
   Geoff was a simple man, if his family was happy, so was he.

   Much loved brother of Nancy and Colin (dec), special Uncle to Kylie, Sharon and Tim, friend of Sonia, and Great Uncle to Ebony and Matthew, Nathan and Hayley.

   We will truely miss Geoff as he was a very special person in our lives. Rest peacefully.
