  8. It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a beautiful lady who has been a special part of our family for over 30 years. We started out as neighbours but you quickly became a special friend who we thought of as family.
We will miss our heart to heart chats. You always asked after everyone whenever we visited and showed a genuine interest in what we were all doing. Your wise guidance and counsel were always appreciated.
Christmas morning will never be the same again, although perhaps people will be hungry at lunch time not having filled up on your lavish morning tea complemented by oodles of bubbly. You were always the ultimate hostess and apologised if everything wasn’t homemade. Your thoughtful gifts were always very practical, useful & appreciated.
Liz will miss the special trips to the theatre and the chats before and after the show.
You took on the role of being “Nan” to Christina and for that we will be eternally grateful.
Rest in peace beautiful lady. It has been a priviledge to know you. You will be missed forever.
Our thoughts are with Sandra, Gary & Carolyn and their families at this sad time.

  12. You may not have been my Nan by blood, but you are the only grandparent I have ever known and you were all the more special to me for it. Your absence will be prominent at every special event to come, and Christmases will never be quite the same now that the tradition of visiting you for drink and nibbles on Christmas morning is at an end. The hole in my heart where you resided is a gaping wound that may never truly heal. I love you and miss you, Nan, now and forever. Rest in peace 💔

    Your adopted granddaughter,
    Christina Sparrow.
