  13. It has been our privilege to have had a wonderful relationship with the Tanner family for over 50 years. In that time, we have come to appreciate Merryl’s many attributes. Through our Christian involvement with her in the 1970s at the Mortlake uniting Church, the family’s farm life and Merryl’s teaching career. Her conscientious attention to detail, wit, energy and genuine concern for others all shone through.

Our world is a much richer place as a result of our involvement with Merryl, and we wish for her family all the love and sympathy they will need to deal with this most difficult time in their lives.
