  2. A lovely lady who touched the hearts of so many and will be sadly missed
“Mrs Storr” was a shining light for my boys as they made their way through their early education. She made a huge impact on not only their lives but also mine – she taught us to always believe in ourselves, to follow our hearts and to enjoy the journey we are on no matter where it leads us.
    RIP

  6. Thinking of you all today as COVID-19 stops all from being able to share your grief and loss with a touch or a hug when words fail. For us unable to be present, be assured that we are watching with you and sharing the load from afar.
Alison was a great work colleague and we worked together well.
Our greatest collective effort was that special family wedding at Cape Bridgewater.

  8. I don’t even know what to say. Alison as our sister in law, we have just been stunned by your sudden passing. You are far too young to leave us all. We know you weren’t ready to go and with such a positive attitude we thought you would fight on for longer. Our hearts bleed for your young family. They all miss you so much. We are just so sad that we can’t be there for them on this very sad day. You will for ever be in our hearts.
Our condolences to Pete, Leigh, Rachael, Dan and families

  11. My beautiful big Cuz
I inherited all your dolls, books (mostly Enid Blyton) and I had the best dressing up box comprised of all your dance costumes.
You was my mums best friend and my dad doted on his niece.
I remember the times down in hockley woods, walking the dogs and family Sunday dinners.
You and mum trying to paper the ceiling, giggling because every time you tried to stick the paper up it fell on you both. How silly you both looked waving brooms in the air in a bid to stop the paper falling again.
Memories of bus trips to the pictures. So my Disney films that you treated me too.
You took me to London shopping for my first time to by my bridesmaids dress for your wedding. You made me feel like a real princess.
I’m so lucky to have such great memories in the later years too. So many places we visited. Our road trips will remain legendary.
You had such a beautiful heart and such an infectious laugh I’m so proud to say you was my big cousin.
    Love you alison
You’ll forever be in my heart

  22. To Alison, my long-stay roommate at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. We had a lot of laughs. It was great to chat about the many things the doctors were doing for us, about our families, and about our life and work. You are a truly lovely person, a bright start in the night. I will miss our chats.
Sending love and sympathy to your family. A good woman has left our world and will brighten up the next one.

  23. Alison contacted me through the old Friendsreunuted site reminding me that we had worked together at Woolworth in Rayleigh aged 16. I was honest and said I had no memory of her or of her coming to my house on more than one occasion. Still we struck up a “renewed” friendship built around a shared love of family, travel and of course pirates and anything that made us smile in our old age. We did manage to meet up in London to visit the Christmas lights and we had planned to visit my home in Spain before her first illness curtailed those plans. When she was in hospital she would sometimes contact me and say “make me laugh” at which point the pictures of half naked young doctor’s and of course pirates would fly across the oceans. I frequently accused her of not really being sick simply wanting to stalk a fit doctor or nurse. We were planning a road trip round Aus with a young male chauffeur (poor guy) and a road trip on Harley Davidson motor scooters we both knew it wouldn’t happen but it kept us sane and smiling just as those “naughty” pictures did. I will miss her and our virtual chats. To you her family I send you love and hugs, she was immensely proud of all of you loving you to the moon and back and she lives on through you and her grandchildren.
