Peacefully passed away at the Port Fairy hospital surrounded by family.

Dearly loved husband of Theresa.

Loved and respected father of Karen, Leo, Lise, Bernard and their partners.

Cherished ‘Pargra’ to Sarah, Andrew, Christopher; B.J., Liam, Caleb; Bridget, Isabella: Benjamin, Zara and great ‘Pargra’ to Logan and Rose.

Well known and respected publican from the Prince of Wales Hotel, Ascot Vale.

Lifetime member of the MCC, Lions Club and Beer & Beef Club Melbourne.

Respected member of the Lighthouse Community Centre, Port Fairy.

Smith family wish to thank Drs Gault and Sutherland for their care and attention. A special heartfelt thanks goes to the nurses at Port Fairy hospital.

We couldn’t have made it as peaceful as it was without you all.

His larger than life personality will be greatly missed but not forgotten. He’s now with his mates enjoying a Guinness.
