January 6, 2022A genuine and wonderful man with a great sense of humour. Harry and Maddi loved whenever we saw you and often laugh about the cheeky antics with great uncle Graeme. Deepest sympathy to Margo, Justin and the extended Salmon family. Rest In Peace xo
January 3, 2022News of Graeme’s passing is deeply saddening, and I send my deepest condolences to Margo, Justin and all of Graeme’s grieving brothers, sisters, and extended family.
He came from one of the most remarkable families I have ever known. Their home life on the farm at Ecklin South was a true creation of their parents Ian and Kath – a family full of kindness, common sense, good humour, wit, integrity and wisdom. Graeme was a spirited part of that life, often hilarious, sometimes mischievous, and genuinely knowledgeable of the reality of farming, the joys of sport (especially cricket), the mysteries of fishing, and above all the ultimate gift of married life with Margo.
We all wish he could have stayed on earth much longer to further enhance our lives. I am glad I taught him at Terang High School. Now I grieve that the student has gone before the teacher. It should not be that way.
Farewell Graeme,
Ken Rigby January 3 2022
Simply the best. one best man to another & schoolmate teammate. Your love to Margo & Justin was so filled with your humour & warmth. Cherio Graeme you champ.Bayney
January 2, 2022To Graeme,
A down to earth bloke, who called it as he saw it, with the added humour.
A wonderful sportsman who excelled in cricket “the run machine” and in fishing, “if there where no fish he would get one and everyone else Nil”.
A teacher who showed me it was my problem to sort my fishing tangles out, how to fish and showed me patience.
A mate, I hauled 4 sharks up a cliff with, one fine morning.
An uncle who helped his parents and his sister on the farm for countless decades each weekend and asked for nothing in return.
An authentic Australian, who lived in a simple way, and showed us that true satisfaction was found with family, living a simple life and doing positive things you enjoyed the most.
To a person who was more like a brother than an uncle, we are sad for you leaving us so unexpectedly, may you rest forever in peace my friend.
Our thoughts and support are with Margo, Justin and family at this difficult time.
Nigel & Jiani and all the girls.
Lauren, Tara, Darci & Quenci.
Deepest sympathy to Margo, Justin and family. I will always remember and appreciate the kindness shown to me by Graeme, Margo and Justin as a young man growing up in Warrnambool.
Glenn Reed and family.
RIP ‘G’. A good bloke gone.
My love and deepest sympathy to Margo, Justin, Kellie and the Salmon Family.
To Margo and Justin,
We want to let you know, although our words are few, Graeme will be dearly missed, and we are feeling sad with you. Thinking of you.

December 31, 2021Sympathies to Graeme’s immediate family and also his Sisters, brothers and their families. Lived his life as his Mum and Dad would wish.
Simple loves, loyalty and devotion and enjoyed his many interest.
RIP Graeme.
One of a kind. A brilliant sportsman, passionate fisherman, more importantly a decent human. Remember those late nights fishing between the apostles, bonfire going, pulling in sharks. Solving all the worlds problems. The best of times.
A champion bloke.
