  8. Port Fairy-Belfast Lions Club send their sincere condolences to Betty’s family. Betty was always an active Lions Lady and was a driving force in the committee that initially established the Lions Club Art Show. Her husband Jim was a Lions stalwart and past President of the club. Following his
tragic death, Betty remained involved with our club, attending our dinner meetings and assisting where she could in activities such as the Biggest Morning Tea and the Soup and Song gatherings. She was also of great assistance to the Lions Club when they took over the reins of the New Year’s Eve festival was under threat because of the lack of support and she opened up her home and provided refreshments to Lions involved in the New Years activities. Betty was more than a Lion partner and Lions Lady, she was a good friend to many of us and will be remembered with fondness
