Loved mother and mother-in-law of Anne and Murray, Stephan and Jenny, David and Janet.

Loved Granny of Jason, Mathew & Anna, Joshua & Tanya, Michael & Emma, Scott & Jess, Darren & Toni, Great Granny of 20, and Great, Great Granny of 1.

Loving daughter of Royce and Doris Bellman (both deceased).

Loving sister of Bill, Wes, Ken, Morris (all deceased) and their families.

The Memorial Service for AVIS will be held at the Eastern Park Chapel, 271 Raglan Parade, Warrnambool on MONDAY (June 3) commencing at 2.00pm.

Deepest sympathy is extended to Anne and Murray, Stephan and Jenny, David and Janet on the sad passing of Avis who was a most respected local citizen who took great pride in her community and district. She was a talented writer and an excellent communicator. In particular her efforts in preparing and publishing the R.S.L. History represented her exceptional writing ability. The many publications with which she was involved will remain as a tribute to her wise knowledge and quite remarkable ability. Her presence with us will indeed be greatly missed. Her assistance with significant occasions at Flagstaff Hill or for the City of Warrnambool will always be remembered with great pride and appreciation.

  4. It was our privilege that Avis counted us as her friends after we met as volunteers at Flagstaff Hill. Her work ethic put us all to shame as she was so interested in everyone and everything; she completed her book on the Warrnambool RSL in 2017 and her record of the creation of Flagsstaff Hill is like her, irreplaceable!
