Tributes

  1. Uncle Ken, you were always so kind, positive and quiet-natured. As a young girl I loved being at the Windalea farm and seeing your huge stash of tennis balls, fascinated by your fold-up bike you used to ride to the airport on, and being taken for a flight in your plane. Friend of Vince, Great Uncle to Daniel and Casey. Love Catherine Collett (Paton).

  2. To Uncle Ken the lovely, lovely man who spent a lot of time with his niece at the farm so many years ago sharing his interests and hobbies that seemed very exotic to a young girl – bagpipes, phonograms and flying. Be at peace Love Jane

  3. A loved and respected Uncle to Andrew and Ups and great-uncle to Jasmin and Milly. Your gentle nature and smile will be dearly missed. Andrew, Ups, Jasmin and Milly.

  4. Farewell Ken, you were a fine tradesman in the Nestle’ milk factory, and had a great interest in flying light planes, well past retirement! I am very glad we caught up at Swinton’s recently and I hope that you rest peacefully now, Leon
