August 9, 2024My condolences to Carmel and Declan at this very difficult time. I met Mitch through his great mate Jacko at their 60th celebrating at the Bendigo races. It was a great day for all with a race named after Mitch and Jacko. We all caught up just recently at a Trivia night and not knowing it would be the last time. It was a privlidge to meet you Mitch. RIP

August 9, 2024My earliest memory of Mitch is helping paint the house in Mildura for his upcoming wedding to carmel. I would have been maybe 9, we were set up out the front behind some bushes where of course if we stuffed up it wouldn’t be visible but Mitch & Carmel were happy to have us help. Mitch was like an uncle to us, attending all family events and was one of the first there whenever dad needed someone. They were inseparable, and shared over 30 years friendship. We are all still very much in shock and I keep thinking it’s a bad dream. Sending so much love and hugs to Carmel and Declan. We love you and will be there for you every step of the way forward. xoxo
