Max & Di Taylor November 6, 2024 A wide-eyed 17-year-old, scared as hell, entering the gates of Midfields at dawn. Nerves hitting me every fiber of me, wanting to run. Then came that gravely booming voice, a mix of intimidation and warmth, “J, you’ll be in 180 today.” My first shift done and dusted, and the start of countless memories with a man who could command a room with a single word or a hearty laugh.
the beginning of a journey that would shape my future, thanks to his enduring influence.
Colin you’ve had a massive hand in shaping who I am today, thank you for the laughs the memories and the advice.
Its time to hang your hat up now mate your shift is done.
