  7. To Margaret and family,
I send my deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Robbie.
Rob was a Charter Member of the Simpson & District Lions Club in Feb.1993, Secretary 1996/97 and Club President in 1999/2000. It was a pleasure to know and work with him in the Club, he was a valued active member up until about 10 years ago when he decided to resign.
I remember him always having an interesting story to tell of places and people he had met, worked with and known.
He was an amazing man with a wonderful community spirit, a great believer in encouraging young people to follow their dreams and go farming.
Thankyou Rob for your friendship, encouragement and interesting stories, I’m certain you were loved by so many that you’ll never be forgotten.

Many former students of Carpendeit Primary school would of only known you as the man in the red suit but your yearly appearance and chats ( personally would of talked about trucks and farm) would be cherished childhood memories forever…

My late grandfather Arthur enjoyed helping you at the horse events
