Eilish De Avalon July 8, 2025 Lisa and I were primary school friends between 1988 and 1990. Countless sleep overs at her farm. All the Footrot Flats pictures she drew for me. Even though my family left Timboon and we lost touch, I’ve always remembered Lisa fondly. Beautiful soul taken too soon. Condolences to all of her family.

Lisa and I are cousins, but we grew up like brother and sister. I guess you could say i was her real life cuzzy bro…
Lisa and I used to spend most of our school holidays roaming the farm and the Peterborough rubbish tip. When mum wanted to leave we used to hide in amongst Albert’s various array of collectables until mum gave up and left. No changes of clothes for a month… the fluo yellow jocks were not that by the end of January, but we were kids and it didn’t matter…
We spent our time terrorising Marion, Albert and one or two of the Ted’s that they had along the way. The Neverending story video was on repeat throughout as it was her favourite at the time. We shared a love of music and she learnt guitar alongside me with us creating some interesting music one would say.
I have many wonderful stories and memories of Lisa, I love her dearly and will miss her so much.
