  6. Our kind, strong and loving Aunty who was always there for our Koroit family…
Lynette – Thankyou so very much for all that you did!

Many treasured memories are ours; from significant family occasions (some with your excellent trifles or soups), to many great chats (often in cars/about cars/on the way to our cars) which were always with coffee; and over all the years there was so much more…

Your thoughtfulness and recognition of all important dates was much appreciated.

Rest well now; you have truly earned it; and are reunited with your cherished Dad and Mum, and other departed loved ones.

You will be hugely missed here, and your strength, spirit and genuine character is admired, and an inspiration to us.

You were good humoured, always welcoming, and so adoring and proud of your Bill and the lovely family of which you were the matriarch. All your extended families and friends were fortunate to have you too.

And, of course, we’ll give a specific mention of and Thankyou for your special care on the infamous ‘dog bite night’! Always remembered, always our loving Lynette.

Thoughts are with Bill and girls, plus all other family and friends. X
    ❤️Cherillee, Wayne and Stephen.
Also, the much loved and appreciated sister in law of the late Bob and Mary Harry.

  7. Cousin Lynette

I’m so grateful I was able to bring my mum to visit you all in Warrnambool a few years ago. I will never forget how you and Jenny kindly offered to drive to Geelong at short notice to pick us up if I couldn’t arrange a hire car. Luckily I managed, and you were there to welcome us with a warm smile when we eventually arrived.

Your dear dad took us to see the sights, and you thoughtfully organised all the family catch-ups. I remember your kindness, generosity, and the joy you brought to those around you

From Aunty Norma and all our families, our thoughts are with Bill and all your beloved family as they celebrate your life. May they find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared together.

    With love and sympathy,
    Helen, Aunty Norma and families

  8. My Sister Lynette was the most caring and supportive sister anyone could wish for, would be there at a moment’s notice to help in any way she could.
Remembering all the fun, sometimes funny times we had throughout the years. So many stories could be told, but not enough time to tell. You were not only my sister, but my friend as well.
Lynette, even though you struggled at times throughout your life with your health, you were still there no matter what. Thank you for always being there.
It was so heartbreaking to see you in such pain in the past weeks, you tried to fight the battle, and you did this with courage. You fought so hard to stay with us.
I will miss our daily coffees at Fishtales, and our Saturday lunches. Memories of you are ours to hold close to our hearts forever.
As Pa would say, cheers for now. Your Sister Jenny.

  11. Dear Aunty Net,

Growing up, I would spend a lot of time, out at the Yangery house, mostly being a pest. I am unsure how you put up with me, but thanks for some of the best memories, growing up.

You introduced me to toasted cheese, cut in squares, and microwaved to perfection. It is still a regular on the menu today. You can, however, keep your silverside.

We are going to miss the time spent together. Our regular Tuesday night dinners, which had lapsed a bit in recent times. They never could get your order right.

Condolences to Bill, Amanda & Scott, Rebecca, Alysha & Paul and all the terrific grandkids and great grand kids.

We are all going to miss you Net. Say hi to Nanna and Pa for us all.

Love from Derrick, Rachel and Peppa.

  23. Dear Lynette, you were one of a kind, and we shared lots of laughs and even cries over the years. I can still remember when we first met at a work conference. The four of us clicked instantly. We were often discussing our 7 beautiful daughters, and have watched them all grow and have their own families. We love and miss you but know that you are now at peace.

  24. Mum you were the heart of our family — a truly inspirational woman whose strength touched everyone you met. Through all your life challenges, you always remained positive, determined and incredibly resilient.

You had a stubborn streak — one that meant you never gave up on what, and who you believed in, and we loved you all the more for it.  Family was always the most important thing to you and us all being together. You and dad gave us an amazing life full of love, laughter, and a place we can always call home.

In times of tension, you were our peacemaker, bringing calm and comfort when it was needed most. Above all, Mum you were so strong in every way and you fought so hard to stay with us.

We love and miss you so much but know you are now pain free and living it up with Nanna & Pa and people that have also gone too soon. Your strength, resilience and love will live on in each of us ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  25. Nana, you were such a beautiful person, inside and out. Your heart was so big, and you gave so much of yourself to everyone lucky enough to know you. You were the kind of person who lit up every room with your presence and made others feel loved, safe, and seen. I could always come to you for anything and everything, knowing that you were my biggest supporter and would always be there with open arms and an open heart.

It’s so hard to believe you’re gone, it feels far too soon. You fought so hard, with such courage and grace. I will never forget how committed you were to your family, how selfless and strong you were, and how you always put others first. Your love, your wisdom, and your kindness will continue to guide me in every part of my life.

You were more than just my Nana, you were my role model, my safe place, and one of my greatest blessings. I will love you and miss you forever, Nana. Your memory will live on in everything I do.

Her kindness and passion for all those near her will live in our memories forever. Her courage was inspirational and we know she is finally at peace. Neville and Angela and family.

  30. Mum – the strongest woman we’ve ever known.
Brave, kind, and always there when we needed her.

She carried strength in her silence and love in her actions. Her sense of humour could brighten any room, and she always had the perfect words – even when it came to something as simple as a number plate. (She really did come up with the best one.)

She was caring, thoughtful, and full of quiet wisdom. Sitting with her, even in silence, brought comfort. She had a way of making you feel seen, safe, and understood.

A beautiful soul, deeply missed, forever loved.

  31. Lynette, you were the strongest person I have ever known. You showed grace, strength and a quiet resilience in everything you did.

From 28th November 1970 – 29th July 2025 – 55 wonderful years we walked side by side until the very end. Through every happiness and challenge, we were always together.

You put everyone else first, loving your family and friends with all your heart. Family was everything to you.

I will have to walk alone for a while but it is not good bye.
Till we meet again you will forever be in my heart.
