1. To dear Jenny and extended families, Deepest Sympathy on the passing over of your beloved John. John’s Eulogy was remarkable and inspirational during his life’s journey. Blessed be, you were able to share your lives together through the decades. During the years 1987-1988, I sailed every Sat 1 pm on the Akuna Maid, racing alongside Bandicoot.
   During one of the races on a beautiful sunny day, I noticed Bandicoot was quite close to our stern in full spinnaker. Quickly fetching my camera, I took a magnificent image of Bandicoot. After developing the photos, I gave a copy to John, before a sail. He conveyed this was the best photo of Bandicoot he had seen and asked if he could pay for the negative. As yachties, I simply gave John the negative to which he replied he would always treasure this photo. Bert Robilliard conveyed John took the image to a photography shop in Warrnambool. I believe it was blown up to poster size and exhibited in the photography shops front window for 2 months.
   To this day I still talk about that image of Bandicoot when sharing other photos of Aristoss, Close Encounters and so forth when reminiscing over those fearless magnificent yacht racing days at sea.
   Blessings and comfort of memories to you all as you miss John. Hallelujah when you meet again…
