  6. Thank you, Thank you & again Thank you…
For My treasured memories with Maree, Cindy and I as little girls at Dennington, you were always there with a big smile and cuddle, lots of teasing and laughter….
Except when Pies beat the Cats & Saturday night (after 6pm when it was cheaper to phone) you or Leon would ring Riverglen Geelong just to stir your nieces.
For my treasured memory of being in Warrnambool & sneaking in to Dennington to see you & introducing you to Brian, when he & I first met, & no one else knew I was in town, hard to date a new guy when everyone in town knows a Garner.
Thank you for sharing our biggest day at our wedding.
Though we have been distant by mileage over the years, you always held a special spot in our heart.
Love to Nicky, Marshall and Judy.
Basil, a life filled with laughter, happiness & love of family and friends.
    Love Kerry & Brian xxoo

  11. Another limb has fallen from our family tree…

Cheeky, mischievous, interested, gentle, caring, loving are only just some of the many words to describe you.

You became the family patriarch and ensured the traditions of Garnerama and Boxing Night continued, especially out at “home” in the earlier days.

Nicky and Marshall, all our love to you – your Dad & Poppy was simply the best!

Thank you Judy for loving and caring for our Baz and to the Brockway family for welcoming him with so much love.

Rest easy now Bazzy. We will miss you so.

There are so many great memories that won’t be forgotten, like days at the football watching South, trips to the races, and that sly grin when you won a hand at poker.

We will miss you greatly, but have comfort in all the great time we spent together.

  20. Dad, for days now I’ve been trying to find the right words for this tribute but then I realised there will never be the right words for losing a parent, there will always be something more I want to say. I just want to say thank you for being my dad and such a wonderful poppy to marshall. You were the kindest most patient dad a girl could ask for. I never saw you angry, I never heard you say a bad word about anyone and you were always up to some kind of mischief. You took being a dad to a little girl in your stride. If marshall grows up to be half the man he’s poppy was then I’ll be one extremely proud mum.
We love you dad and I really hope as you look down on us we both make you proud, as proud as I was to call you my dad.
