Thinking of you today Vivienne, Angela, Cameron, Mark and family. I always enjoyed a chat with Uncle Maurice when we visited Port Fairy, often over dinner at ‘The Stump’. Particular thanks Maurice for letting Mark and I take your Landcruiser for a spin in the paddocks when I was 13 years old – my first experience driving a car, blasting your EMF cassette on the stereo, which I remember to this day. Rest well.
Love always, Steve Reddington, Kellie, Judson and Marley.
Steve Reddington March 23, 2026 Maurice, although I’m no longer with Mark, you were my father-in-law who I admired & I’ve missed you since Mark. Even today, I still talk about times on the farm I had with you when visiting, your awesome humour, laughing at Vivienne and yourself bantering, and how intellectual you actually were underneath that “shell”. Only just late last month again my thoughts wondered to “how’s Maurice?”.
I’m so sorry to hear your time is finally up, but now it’s finally time to rest, you were a truly hard working man & respected member of the Warrnambool & district Community. Best wishes & condolences to Vivienne, Cameron, Mark, Angela & family through this time. Ironically I found out because of seeing some other news that led me to see this sad news. God bless, Sarah.
Sarah March 21, 2026 Beloved Father of youngest son, Mark.
I have had more warm breakfasts than lunches when growing up till now even thanks to you, Dad. Waking me up with a knock on the door and saying “Breakfast’s ready” on the farm having prepared cereal and warm milk or porridge. Later whenever I was on holidays back home you would be up early, even when retired, and we’d watch the morning shows and talk about anything. You worked hard and played hard, but still had time for your family, friends and the local community. You have done your duty…so sleep well.

Richard Conlan March 11, 2026 Pop was such a loving and heartfelt man. He always had everyone’s interest first before his. He was always up for a chat especially if it was about fishing or shooting. He was always so interested in what you did and what you were doing. I couldn’t have asked for a better pop and role model, and I am so grateful for what he has taught me and how loving and supportive he has been. and how much joy he has brought to my life.
