Leave a tributeSending my deepest sympathy to Bev, John and extended family.
I hadn't seen Sharni for many many years but we shared our early years at both primary and high school together.
When I think of her, I see her cheeky beautiful big smile and remember her confidences talking to and punching the boys. Many great times at the Burn's house in Merrivale - eating all of the bakery left overs and staying up as late as we wanted - it was like being in heaven. Such lovely memories.
Rest easy honey, reunited with Jade.

Rest In Peace Sharni. The news of your passing broke my heart. I feel blessed to have known you & to have been a part of your life. You were all like family to me, you being the protective big sister. I appreciate the years we spent together & all the years that followed after, as we still in touch, even if it was from far away. I will always remember you & Bev came to visit me when I was unwell in hospital all those years ago, something that really meant a lot, that's who you were, you would show up when needed. A beautiful soul gone far too soon. I am sending my deepest condolences & every piece of love in my heart to John & Bev, Taryn & Asha, & the girls that I have not had the pleasure to meet yet. Your memory will live on through many Sharni. Rest in peace. Side by side with Jade, no doubt. Love you. xx

What a beautiful pic that depicts the shining light she was . Sharni was always the cool chick .. I always wanted to have the courage she had when talking to the boys. She was artistic and creative and if I recall correctly .. hated the "least" (most) important subjects .
I hope you lived you that life with that big heart and creativity that we all saw in secondary school .
Much love to your girls .. bev and John . Taryn and Asha .
