Robert was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary (nee Delahenty).
He is survived by his son, Michael and his children with Kate Rice - Bill and Ned.
His son, David, his wife, Bonnie and their children, Aiden, Ellie, and Rachael .
His daughter Kirsten and her son Jack.

Leave a tributeIt was a privilege to work with Bob during his time at Marymount College. I was a member of the Learning Support Centre team before my appointment as APA.
He saw the potential in every student, particularly those who needed additional support with their learning.
Through his vision and dedication, he played an instrumental role in ensuring that the Learning Support Centre flourished and it became a significant part of the CollegeAs an APA, I always felt supported, respected and encouraged and loved his sense of humour and how he shared his wisdom.

Margaret and I have known Robert and family since 1970 when we were neighbours in Mulgrave. Michael and David (Chubs) were the same age as our Simon and Justin and they were great mates. Mary was a connection for Margaret as they both grew up in Warrnambool. Robert and I were politically either side of centre, and we always had lively debates.
Our thoughts are with Michael, David, Kirsten, Emma and Mark.

Bob Peacock was one of those rare leaders whose intellect, energy, and commitment left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside him. He was deeply committed to students who found learning challenging, yet equally passionate about rigorous academic standards, believing every young person deserved both support and excellence.
As my principal, mentor, and friend, Bob never hesitated to challenge my thinking, particularly when I thought circumstances were becoming a little too difficult. His advice was rarely what I wanted to hear, but invariably what I needed to hear.
Bob was also wonderfully human. I quickly learned never to head into his office on a Thursday afternoon. That time belonged to movie night with Mary, and nothing was ever going to stand in the way of that cherished tradition.
I will miss his unmistakable belly laugh, the colour rushing to his face, his hand instinctively following, and the inevitable coughing fit that came with it. Those moments reflected the warmth, humour, and joy he brought to life.
So much learned. So much respect. So much gratitude.
Bob, I will now take on the solemn responsibility of eating your share of the meat pies from the local bakery that we enjoyed during your early retirement.
Until we meet again, my friend. You will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and never forgotten.

Bob’s was a life of dedicated, thoughtful and faithful service.
Bob was a Brisbane Catholic principal 1988 - 2009 when I was principal (Stuartholme) 1983 -2003. My special memory is that when my wife died at an early age in 1995, and while I was still distracted, Bob, of his own initiative arranged for her Catholic Super death cover to be paid immediately. Bob was an amazing principal at Marymount College. His support and guidance of me as a young teacher and drama coordinator at the age of 24 is something I will never forget. I often talk about him fondly. His guidance and support was phenomenal. I will never forget his joy in life...dressing up for teacher performances and his support for our school musicals. He's the reason we looked at larger venues. He was kind man who had a great sense of humour.

Thank you Rob for all the laughs and special times we had on holiday with you, Mary, Micheal, David, Kirsten, Emma and Mark.
I will cherish those memories forever - the backyard cricket most of all.
A man of great integrity who always listened to others - I’ll particularly miss your great sense of humour.
Forever in our hearts.

Robert was my friend, colleague and mentor over the many years since our first meeting in 1979. He was an academic, very intelligent, politically aware, as well as being an AFL fanatic. He was a true leader both educationally and religiously, acknowledged early in his career by his rapid promotion through the ranks of Catholic Education. He was a devoted husband to Mary and a proud father to his five children.
Bob had a great sense of humour, happy to give and take a humorous view of any situation.
He has left a legacy of achievement, success and friendship. His powerful intellect, sense of responsibility and right judgment have always been exhibited in a context of authority, confidence and calm. He is held in the highest regard by all who have had the privilege to be associated with him.
Robert, you have run the good race and given so much. You have been an inspiration to all of us. May you rest in peace.

So many of us owe Bob so much. As Principal of Trinity College Beenleigh, he brought a vibrancy and energy to the school. Not one to sit in an office, he was actively involved in coaching AFL teams, helping out running the Javelin event at Athletics and always loved being in charge of the microphone at Swimming Carnivals. His empathy and care ensured both staff and students always felt safe and valued. Rest in peace Bob, we are forever grateful for your leadership and guidance.

It was a privilege to work under Bob’s leadership and he certainly has enriched so many lives. He taught us all what true service and sacrifice was all about.
Eternal rest grant unto Bob o Lord and may Your perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed rest in peace.
May the choirs of angels greet Bob as he enters into Paradise.
