My heart goes out to all family and friends thats hearts are broken with the passing of Mick. Rock and Roll gigs with be miserable without your smiling, quiet and affirming presence at a table, when I had a break in our sets. It was hard with the absence of beautiful Lorraine, but now a massive void in our long association together. I know you will be "cutting the rug" with Lorraine in your finest dancing clothes. Vale Mick from Damien, Adele and family, SLap N THe Cats, The Sky Rockats and Rockin Daddies all of whom you lit up our lives!

It was so sad to miss Lorraine in the finest of Rock n Roll clothes "Cutting"up the dance floor with you at all our gigs. It was something sad to see you at gigs without her. But now our hearts are busted not to have you there with us when we play. It was always grand to come off stage and sit with you on a table during a break from playing to have a chat. I will forever cherish your quiet affirming, friendly chats and kind affirmation to myself and the boys.
WIll miss you sooooo much. Deepest sympathy to James, David, Katie Poppie and Sailor. Time to "cut up the rug" with your beautiful wife forever. Hope they have copies of "Slap N The Cats"or "Sky Rockats" up there for you to remember us!!!July 26, 2026 8:59 pm

I will always remember Uncle Mick as a calm and cool uncle, and wow - how much I loved spending time and celebrating Christmas with his family: James, David, Aunty Lorraine. Such happy days in their home. I cherish the memories of being part of the extended O’Reilly family, especially those wonderful childhood moments in the 80s and 90s. My thoughts are with my cousins and their families, my dad and mum, my aunts and uncles, and everyone who loved Mick.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mick for over 20 years. A great and intelligent bloke and a joy to work with. I know Mick will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Uncle Mick, we love you and will miss you so much.
I have so many special memories growing up — playing spotlight after dark with the cousins and all the kids in the street, and finding you out in the shed or the driveway. As a curious kid I probably asked you way too many questions, but you always answered with a smile and a laugh, and nothing but kindness.
Aunty Lorraine, we still think of you often. Your laugh was so unique, and your warmth and cuddles are something we’ll never forget. You welcomed us like your own — more like my Dad’s sister than his sister-in-law — and pulling up at your place always meant a wonderful, happy time. Uncle Mick is with you again now.
We will carry your memories with us always. Rest peacefully, Uncle Mick and Aunty Lorraine.

In loving memory of a wonderful brother and brother-in-law, who lived life with a gentle spirit and a kind heart.
Quiet, gentle and happy. He was never one to make a fuss, preferring instead the simple joy of good times and good company. With his warm smile and easy-going nature, he brought a quiet happiness to those around him, leaving us with wonderful memories to cherish.
Mick will be deeply missed, always remembered and forever loved.
