Pockets, didn't that nickname stick from the Christians days' when you first started working.
You were many things to me, from big brother to my first ever footy coach. We had a lot of good times!
Anyway, come Monday it will be sad but as we always have done, I will be raising a beer or two to you.

Gran and Aunty Peg use to make quite a fuss of Pockets when he came to stay. No wonder he was a bit of a hero in my eyes and will remain much loved.

My last chat with you I could feel your pain but you put on a brave front.
I have lots of stories but how lucky to be the fourth member playing footy in the backyard and normally on your side playing against the twins. The highlight was you taking a specky.

Sorry to hear of Bill’s passing.
My thoughts with you Gayle and family.
As cousins we were pretty close back in Mortlake and have lots of memories.
Bill obviously loved his family and stayed strong with some challenging health issues.

Dear Gayle, I was so saddened to read of Pocket’s passing. We’ve lost touch over the years but I have very fond memories of our younger days in and around Woorndoo and Mortlake and at Geelong Teachers’ College during which time you met Pockets.
