Margaret died peacefully in Warrnambool on 09 October, 2021 aged 100 years after an extraordinary life of service to her community.
Loving and much-loved wife of Peter (dec. 1996), devoted and cherished mother of Ian, proud grandmother of David and mother-in-law to Sherril.
Loved sister of Harry Davison (dec. 2015), sister-in-law of Shirlee and auntie to Roger, Karyl and Lerae.
Sister-in-law of Ruby Thomasson (née McKay) (dec. 2009) and Philip (dec. 1969) and auntie to Peter (dec. 1996), John and Mark.
A private funeral service was held in Warrnambool on Thursday 14 October, 2021.

Dear Ian, Our parents, Joan and Col Collyer (both deceased) were long time friends of Margaret and Peter. We think Joan and Margaret worked together at Brown and Broad in Townsville. To Ian and all Family members, I have great memories of Margaret.
When l started being involved as a young junior cricket coach part of Regional cricket in Charters Towers and have been involved with North Qld junior cricket w. Margaret was passionate and a great ambassador for cricket in the North and for women cricket. Later years her Son Ian was principal at my local board's school and when l was junior cricketer cross paths with him when he helped with coaching at regional clinics.
