Tributes
Leave a tributeIt is with a very heavy heart I just found this page and learned of my friend and colleague Jim's passing.
A sincere friend and gentleman, with a twinkle in his eye when bringing some of his dry humour, solving a intricate problem, or finessing a wine while embellishing on a passion.
Jim is an engineer of outstanding professionalism and knowledge which I doubt could be matched anywhere, a stalwart friend, and devoted family man - We are all at a loss with you gone. My thoughts and sympathies are with you Liz.February 13, 2023 5:01 pm

My deepest condolences to Liz and family
Jim has been taken from us way too soon, after a long and brave battle with illness.
I always admired his humble intellectual brilliance, but more importantly he was a good friend of over 40 years and a fine human being.November 17, 2022 6:35 pm
Deepest sympathy to Liz and family. Fond memories of all the fun times we had with Jim skiing (water and snow) and socialising. Rest In Peace Jim.

Jim had a beautiful mind. Without doubt he was the foremost Dairy Engineer in Australia. His ability to distil problems into first principles-based solutions was second to none. I was also lucky enough to have Jim and Liz with us during our time in Switzerland together. Their friendship was a great support. I knew Jim as a great engineer, a loving husband and father to his family and a good practical and humorous friend. We will miss him. Andrew and Natalie White
