My condolences to family and friends on the passing of Mr Wilkinson. He was my Grade 5 teacher in 1969. We managed to regularly write to each other for well over 50 years. He was a lovely person and a wonderful teacher who inspired me to also become a teacher. I will miss our correspondence, but will always remember him with great fondness and respect.
June 21, 2021Deepest sympathy to you all on the passing of Lindsay. He was my grade 4 teacher, many years ago, and I hold very fond memories of him. In later years, my parents and I visited him occasionally in Port Fairy. Such a lovely man, who I’m sure made a lasting impression on many whom he taught.
