  5. Dearest Ev,
I can always remember the first time we met. I heard on the grapevine you were the coolest 79 year old getting around and you didn’t disappoint. You gave me a big hug and a kiss and it felt like I already knew you.
What I’ll miss most are our conversations around controversial topics, I always knew what your answer was going to be but I always enjoyed asking the question. Your words were always honest and there a great sense of humour attached to it. You will be greatly missed and so will your birthday singing 🎵 ❤️

  15. The time has come to say goodbye to mum and mother-in-law to Maree and Chris, and cherished granny to Brad, Michelle, Caitlin and Danny. She was more than a mum or granny; she was our friend. She was young at heart and “kept up with it” as she would say, always staying engaged with her grandchildren as we grew up and lived away. She brought fun, laughter, and love into every moment. Granny was unapologetically herself and her honesty and open mind made her someone you could always talk to without fear or judgment. She was so warm and affectionate and her love for her family was boundless. She was proud of us all but kept us all firmly grounded and focused on what truly matters in life. She will be missed more than words can say.

  17. I felt like I gained a new Granny when I met Ev. She was the funniest, cheekiest and most loving Granny, GG, Mum, friend and the ultimate shit stirrer and banter combatant. I always noticed not only what Maree, Chris, Cait, Michelle and Brad or anyone that knew her well said about her, but rather how they said it – always with a huge grin and lots of love. She was one of the greats and she will be missed by so many.

We have endless memories to keep us laughing for years to come.

    Rest in peace.

Your 5 out of 10, average looking grandson in law.
