NINETY SIX years, six months and 10 days. What a wonderful life. When I think of all the incredible things you did, saw and lived through – my mind boggles. Such rapid changes and you took all of them in your stride… or should I say shuffle. How sweet that was. There are so many endearing things about you that we will carry in our hearts forever and share in our memories.
My love of travel came from all those amazing stories you told and I’m sure the list of countries you went to is longer than the ones you didnt!
Spending so much time with you and Grandma growing up was such a blessing and watching you now with my own family is just the sweetest. The beautiful bond you have with the girls is so strong, as is ours. Now, forever and always.
You are so very loved Grandad. Thank you for your wisdom and grace, your stubborness, your humour, your honesty and loyalty and most of all your dedication to your wife and family.
Soar high in the sky now with your beloved planes and watch over us with pride.
