  2. We give thanks to God for every remembrance of our beloved sister Glenyce. There are two verses of scripture which to me exemplify Glenyces life. They are Romans, chapter 1 versus 14 and 15. I am a debtor. As much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel. Glenys felt a deep debt of responsibility to the people of Laos and so with every ounce of her energy and strength, she was ready to share the gospel. We give thanks to God for every precious remembrance of her. Allan and Val WEBB.

  4. Nola and I send our sincere sympathy to the family at their dear sister’s sudden passing. We were students together at MBI in 1965. When we came on staff at Swanston Street Church of Christ we reconnected through the global partner family. Glenyce will always be remembered as a gentle person who served her Lord faithfully and responded to others with great compassion. She deeply loved the people she served both globally and locally with her amazing nursing skills. Our love and prayers as you celebrate her life today.

  5. We only heard the name Glenyce in the church paper of Swanston St Church of Christ. When we moved to Warrnambool for a short period of 6 months back in 2005, we got in touch with Glenyce and knew her in a personal as well as brother and sister in Christ level. Glenyce has been in our hearts forever. She had been such an inspiration to us in Christ. One day, we shall see each other again with many of our Christian friends. Dr & Mrs. Roger Chau

  7. The land of a thousand elephants is how she described Laos. She was burdened for the Laotians and served her Lord single mindedly and remained true to her calling. Gentle in spirit but strong in her convictions. Well done good and faithful servant and a role model to those she left behind.

  8. I first heard about Glenyce when her newsletter was read out at the weekly Wednesday evening prayer meeting at Swanston Street Church of Christ.Glenyce also spoke at the Overseas Christian Fellowship gatherings when she was home on furlough. She became a dear friend after serving in Laos & Thailand. After her retirement for some years during Christmas and New Year period the Chong and Chau families would visit her in Warrnambool and attend her church in Nullawarre.A gentle and caring person passionate to share the Good News of Jesus with people. Glenyce was indeed an inspiration to all who knew her.

  11. Dear Family and Friends. So sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathy from CrossCulture Church of Christ. Glenyce was one of the first people to be sent out from our church (then Swanston St CoC) to take the good news of Jesus to those yet to hear. The last time she was here was for the thanksgiving service of her long-time friend Joan Walker.
We thank God for her life and give thanks that she is now in the presence of her Saviour. “Well done good and faithful servant”
