  1. As a Canadian “trainee” living with John and Shirley in the mid ’90s, I can only say that John was easily recognized as someone I could learn a lot from. He was very formative in my willingness to become involved in Agricultural Boards here at home as well. A true visionary and good man. He is missed here as well.
