  11. I first met Jack in the late 1950’s – early 1960’s when I was a child.
I was a regular visitor to 224 Timor St (where Guyett’s used to be located) as I lived a few doors down and often played with my female cousins – Alice, Margaret and Helen.
More recently I had the pleasure of meeting Jack in his role as a volunteer with St Vincent de Paul.
A life well lived and devoted to community service.
    Condolences to the Daffy families.

  16. You were a father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. Also, a father figure to many citizens of Warrnambool. There will never be another person who was so focused on the community, while also being a wonderful family man. You said you were proud of how we all turned out, and what outstanding kids we all had. You always had a fantastic rapport with us all, but that was a direct result of your ability to get on with anybody…. there was no filter! Life won’t be the same but we are grateful to have had nearly 91 wonderful years.
    Rest in peace Dad
